Karnataka school quality assessment [review article]

With the expansion of basic education, an investment in access benefits a declining number of children, while investment on quality benefits an increasing number of children. Therefore, quality becomes a priority area for public intervention. The State of Karnataka has made good progress in expanding facilities and increasing enrolments in basic education. Therefore, the move towards focusing on quality is the right direction.
